Douglas A. Flory, 71, Tippecanoe, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at Kindred Hospital of Northern Indiana, Mishawaka.

Doug was born on Nov. 2, 1944, in Warsaw, to Arnold and Clarabel (Carey) Flory. He was a 1962 graduate of Tippecanoe High School and a lifelong resident of rural Tippecanoe. He was a farmer and had worked at Midwest Spring of Mentone. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and spoiling all the kids in the neighborhood with candy.

Doug is survived by his sisters: Audrey Griffis, Burkett; Rose (Herschel) Walters, Bourbon; Lorraine (Tom) Devros Jr., Tippecanoe; brothers: Lewis and Peg Flory; Jerry and Glenda Flory; Doyle and Janie Flory; Duane and Cathy Flory, all of Tippecanoe. He was further blessed with several nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother: Clarabel, on July 5, 2006; his father: Arnold, on April 11, 2006; sister: Anita Crawford; and two brothers: Marshal and Richard Flory.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon. Graveside Services will be held Friday, at 2:30 p.m. in Tippecanoe Cemetery.
