Kip Tom Releases First TV Ad
FORT WAYNE — Conservative farmer and businessman Kip Tom, Leesburg, hit the airwaves on Saturday night with the first television advertisement of his campaign for Congress in Indiana’s 3rd District.
“As a political outsider who has grown a family business and created jobs in our community, the positive reaction we are seeing from Hoosiers across the district is very encouraging,” Tom said. “Voters are ready for new, conservative leadership, not career politicians and political insiders.”
The ad first aired Saturday night during the Republican Presidential Debate.
A life- long resident of Kosciusko County, Kip grew up on his family’s farm in the community his ancestors homesteaded in 1837. As one of Indiana’s larger grain commodity production businesses, Tom Farms has become a leader in agriculture and seed corn production, operating across seven counties in Indiana. Kip led the growth of Tom Farms and created jobs in northeast Indiana with hard work and by employing sound business principles and new technologies.
From 2005 until 2015 Kip worked to bring good-paying jobs to Indiana as a member of the Board of Directors of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. Appointed by Gov. Mitch Daniels and serving under both Daniels and Gov. Mike Pence, Kip’s leadership was instrumental to Indiana’s record breaking economic growth.
