The fact he’s willing to come back 11 days after the final episode and do a charity event, speaks volume for his passion for BYC and his willingness to give back,” says Tracy Funivall, BYC executive director.
“It’s a great opportunity for people, if they are interested, to hear Ben’s story on his experience and help a great not for profit providing for kids in our community.
“It’s great for us because it will help us generate the biggest fundraiser we have ever had. We’re excited to have him come back,” added Furnivall. Already tickets have been sold to people in New York, Chicago, Fort Wayne, and Michigan.
The episode tonight will show a portion of the time Higgins and his date that day, Lauren B, spent interacting with the BYC kids. “They spent a whole afternoon at BYC,” Furnivall stated. Noting two members of the Indiana Pacers, Paul George and George Hill, and coach Frank Vogel, along with Pacer mascot Boomer were also present.
