AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School girls basketball teams went 1-2 in recent action.

The 8th grade A team beat Argos 24-27. Emma Craig had 11 points and Karina Young 10 to lead the winners. Jillian Walls scored six points, while Faith Kamp had five and Jadyn Kolesiak two for Valley.

The 7th grade A team lost to Edgewood 32-13.  Hannah Parson led Valley with six points. Taylor Biddle had three points and Sidney Wagoner and Hayley Brown each scored two points.

The 8th grade A team lost to Edgewood 34-20. Craig had 12 points to lead Valley. Walls and Young each scored six points.
