Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
12:54 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, North CR 650E and East CR 150N, Pierceton. Driver: June K. Leiter, 50, EMS B37 Lane, Warsaw. Leiter’s vehicle slid into a pole. Damage up to $5,000.
11:10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, North SR 19 north of West CR 350N, Etna Green. Driver: Humberto M. Flores, 35, West Outer Drive, Oak Ridge, Tenn. Flores’s vehicle jackknifed and hit a utility pole. Damage up to $50,000.
9:02 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, South SR 13 north of East CR 1000S, North Manchester. Driver; Emmett J. Fortin, 20, West Jefferson Street, Kouts. Fortin’s vehicle slid into a tree. Damage up to $5,000.
6:53 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, West CR 900N west of North CR 300W, Milford. Driver: Jordan C. Bentley, 24, West Center Street, Bourbon. Bentley’s vehicle slid into a phone box and utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
5:36 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, South SR 13 east of CR 900N, North Manchester. Driver: Jackson C. Wagner, 39, East CR 1450N, North Manchester. Wagner lost control of his vehicle and it rolled into a ditch. Damage up to $10,000.
9:04 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, South SR 25 west of South CR 400W, Warsaw. Driver: Aric W. Dewees, 43, South CR 875E, Akron. Hit fence. Damage up to $2,500.
9:03 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, East CR 350N west of North Saddlebrook Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Richard L. Johnson, 68, Gable Drive, Warsaw. Hit utility pole. A passenger in Johnson’s vehicle, Brittany P. Pigman, 25, Noelwood Drive, Goshen, complained of pain and bruising to her knee. She declined transport and said she would go to the hospital on her own. Damage up to $2,500.
7:53 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, East Armstrong Road east of North CR 75E, Warsaw. Driver: Thomas R. Anderson, 54, East Forest Glen Avenue, Leesburg. Hit utility pole. Damage up to $2,500.
7:33 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, West CR 1350N east of North CR 950W, Nappanee. Driver: Dalton K. Mishler, 26, New Road, Wakarusa. Mishler’s vehicle slid into a barbed wire fence. Damage up to $5,000.
5:32 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, West SR 14 west of South CR 850W, Akron. Driver: Robin M. Hassig, 40, South CR 250W, South Whitley. Hassig’s vehicle slid into a fence. Damage up to $5,000.
3:27 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, South SR 15 north of CR 300S, Warsaw. Drivers: David A. Chew, 39, East Walnut Street, Claypool, and Jeffery A. Hatfield, 52, West Union Street, Claypool. Chew’s vehicle slid into the path of Hatfield’s vehicle and they collided head-on. Both vehicles went into ditches on opposite sides of the road. A passenger in Hatfield’s vehicle, Rebecca D. Hatfield, 53, West Union Street, Claypool, was transported to the hospital with complaints of shoulder and upper arm pain. Damage up to $25,000.
3:02 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, North CR 300E north of East CR 1100N, Milford. Drivers: Veronica A. Sanchez, 23, Turtle Bay Drive, Syracuse, and Dylan M. White, 22, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Sanchez lost control of her vehicle, which crossed center and collided with White’s vehicle, then continued off the roadway and onto an embankment. Sanchez was transported to Goshen General Hospital with complaints of pain to her hip and abdomen. Damage up to $10,000.
11:57 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, East Armstrong Road east of EMS T14 Lane, North Webster. Drivers: Heather R. Madden, 41, EMS T48C Lane, Syracuse, and Jerry R. Hyde, 71, North TK Way, North Webster. Madden’s vehicle rear-ended Hyde’s vehicle, then slid off the road into a tree. Madden was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital with complaints of chest pain. Damage up to $10,000.

Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, East CR 1300N west of North CR 250E, Milford. Driver: Jason E. Storms, 24, North Main Street, Milford. Hit mailbox. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
12:52 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, North Detroit Street and West CR 350N, Warsaw. Driver: Jimmy R Swain, 68, South CR 18, Raleigh, Miss. An unknown vehicle rear-ended Swain’s vehicle and drove away. Swain declined medical treatment. Damage up to $10,000.
