WCHS To Sell Sectional Tickets Monday
WARSAW – Warsaw boys basketball fans will have an extra day to purchase their pre-sale sectional tickets.
The WCHS Athletic Department announced today that all-session tickets for the Class 4-A Elkhart Sectional will be sold on Monday.
The ticket sales were extended after WCHS has been closed the last three days, including today, due to the weather.
Tickets, priced at $10 each and good for admission to the entire sectional, will be sold from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Monday in the Athletic Department.
WCHS students are encouraged to purchased their tickets on Monday in order to guarantee access to the lower arena and the cheerblock for the sectional.
Single-session tickets, priced at $6 each, will be sold at the doors during the sectional.
The Elkhart Sectional, which will be hosted by Central and played at North Side Gym, begins Tuesday at 7 p.m. with Penn versus Northridge. The Wednesday action has Elkhart Memorial versus Goshen at 6 p.m., followed by Elkhart Central versus Concord.
Warsaw, which is ranked No. 6 in Class 4-A and sits at 20-1, received the bye. The Tigers will play the winner of the Penn-Northridge game on Friday, March 4 at 6 p.m. in a semifinal game. The Wednesday night winners will then play in the second semifinal contest. Doors at North Side Gym will open at 5 p.m. on March 4.
The sectional championship game is set for Saturday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. The sectional winner advances to the Michigan City Regional on March 12.
