Woman Airlifted To Hospital Following Wednesday Accident
MARSHALL COUNTY — A Plymouth woman was flown by MedFlight to Memorial Hospital, South Bend, with injuries suffered in a one-vehicle accident early Wednesday, Feb. 24.
Jessica M. Bean, Plymouth, was trapped inside her vehicle and extricated by Plymouth Fire Department. She was then transported by Plymouth EMS to Plymouth Airport and then airlifted to Memorial Hospital. The extent of her injuries and age were not available from police.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department reports at approximately 1:43 a.m. the department received a call regarding a personal injury accident at SR 8, west of Upass Road. Upon arriving at the scene an officer located a gray Jeep, which had traveled off the north side of SR 18 and hit a tree head on.
A preliminary investigation reveals alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
