Mary Louise Ringler
Mary Louise Ringler, formerly of Warsaw, passed away at 12:03 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2016, at Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman, Ohio, at the age of 89.
She was born on Aug. 24, 1926, in Johnstown, Pa., to Rudolph T. Moeller and Daisy Esther (Tiffany) Moeller. On Sept. 18, 1949, she was married to Ernest Alton Ringler, who passed away on Jan. 8, 2014. They had 64 wonderful and loving years together, truly a match made in heaven.
Mary Louise was a dedicated homemaker and for many years visited and assisted the retired missionaries of the Brethren Church. She lived in Johnstown, Pa. for 11 years after her marriage, then moved to York, Pa. In 1967 she and her husband Ernest moved to Winona Lake, where her husband worked for Grace College for 26 years. After her sons were grown up she traveled with Ernie, who at the time drove the Grace College bus for choir tours and sport events. Mary Louise was a longtime member of Lakeland Grace Brethren Church in Warsaw.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons: Donald E. Ringler, Michigan City; Timothy W. (Deb) Ringler, Mansfield, Ohio; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers: Robert “Bob” (Donna) Moeller, Sterling, Ohio; Theodore “Ted” (Bonnie) Moeller, Johnstown, Pa.; two sisters: Florence (Bill) Figert, Winona Lake; Esther Moeller, Warsaw/Winona Lake; sister-in-law: Violet Moeller, Wooster, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Sheryl Ringler; and brother: Kenneth Moeller.
Her memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Lakeland Grace Brethren Church, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Dr. Russell E. Simpson. A private graveside service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
