SCHAUMBURG, ILL. – The Midwest Xtreme Senior 2 Prep cheer team competed last Saturday at the GLCC Grand Nationals Showdown. Team Avalanche was crowned National Champions, Grand Champion for the highest score in their session, and Gold Full-Paid Bid to The U.S. Finals. The team, competing with just seven performers, ran a clean sweep is a very difficult group.

The Senior 2 Prep team are, in front from left, Aumrie Weiss and Shelbie Nine. In the back row are Rachel Easterling coach Kristin Thomas, Makenna Dilley, Bailea Tackett, Ashley Bishop and Jazmin Hidalgo.

Midwest Xtreme is also hosting a parent meeting on Sunday, March 20, beginning at 4 p.m. at the MX facility. The meeting is for any child ages 3-18 years old who is interested in joining a Midwest Xtreme Cheer team.
