Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

8:16 a.m. Friday, March 4, East CR 500N, west of North CR 750E, North Webster. Driver: Jennifer J. Miller, 31, North Maple Way, Leesburg. Miller lost control of her vehicle while attempting to stop for a school bus on a snow/ice covered road, slid off the road hitting a PVC fence. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

3:18 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, Tiger Lane, Warsaw. Drivers: Alexander P. Bergen, 16, Pikeview Drive, Warsaw, and Thomas Starkweather, 43, East CR 225S, Winona Lake. Bergen was pulling out of a parking lot and did not see the Starkweather vehicle traveling through the parking lot. Damage up to $2,500.

1:49 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, West Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Heather R. Marsillett 22, East Wooster Road, Warsaw, and Joy L. Hazard, 39, South Manns Road, Claypool. Marsillett was westbound in the Zimmer parking lot, proceeded through an intersection and hit the Hazard vehicle which was traveling northbound in the parking lot and going through the same intersection. Police report neither intersection had a traffic control device or marking and neither driver yielded prior to entering the intersection. Damage up to $1,000.
