LAFAYETTE – Tonight’s semi-state boys basketball game at Lafayette Jefferson has been altered. The Warsaw versus McCutcheon Class 4-A Semi-state championship game will begin at 7:30 p.m. instead of its 6:45 p.m. slotted time. Doors will open at 6 p.m. at Jeff.

The Class 3-A game scheduled to be played ahead of Warsaw, between Griffith and Marion, was postponed when Griffith’s team bus rolled off I-65 this afternoon on its way to Lafayette. Officials at the scene stated there were no major injuries on the bus, but the investigation was still underway as to why the accident occurred.

The IHSAA stated the game will be postponed to give Griffith time to reschedule the game with Marion. The date, time and location were not immediately announced.
