Kanzie Moore, age 96, of Nappanee, died at 2:45 pm, Friday, March 25, 2016, at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Milford. She was born Jan. 14, 1920, in Handshoe, Ky., to Harry and Ada Lovins. She moved to Nappanee in 2000, from Mize, Ky. Her husband of many years, Chandler Convey preceded her in death.

Mrs. Moore was a homemaker. She enjoyed church services at Lakeland Healthcare and was a Loretta Lynn fan.

Surviving are daughters: Zula Felts, Nappanee; Sallie Yoder, Niles, Mich.; sons: Jack (Diane) Conley, Georgia, Elmo Conley, California; many grandchildren, including Tammy Golden, South Bend; and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sons, Blaine, Thurman, and James S. Conley.

Family and friends may call from 2-3 p.m. Monday, March 28, at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare.
