Jerry Lee Moore, 75, resident of Goshen and Syracuse and longtime resident of the Daleville/Yorktown area, passed away at his residence on March 24, 2016.

He was born September 7, 1940 in Muncie, the son of George Raymond and Stena Mae Martz Moore.

He was a 1960 graduate of Daleville High School and retired from General Motors in Anderson.

He had lived in the Goshen area for 13 years moving from Delaware County.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years: Shirley Ann (Lacy) of Goshen; one daughter: Julie Mroz (Anthony) of Apollo Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren: Lacy Mroz and Aubrey Eastway (Ethan); several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Marty Ballard of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating.

Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until the time of the services at the funeral home on Tuesday.
