WARSAW — With funds provided by the recent purchase of Multi-Township EMS by Lutheran EMS, MTEMS has made a donation of $250,000 to K21 Health Foundation.
K21 will utilize this gift to continue to provide health-related grants that benefit the residents of Kosciusko County. Prior to the purchase, the two organizations enjoyed a long-standing relationship with K21 granting funding to MTEMS for numerous projects and equipment that assisted them in providing high-quality emergency services to the residents of Kosciusko County.
Some of these projects have included the purchase of cardiac monitors, CPR training equipment, a 4×4 rescue vehicle, and state-of-the-art power cots. Many of these grants that were requested from MTEMS were requests for all EMS services in the county, so several other organizations and areas of the county benefited, and there was more consistency to the first responder equipment that was utilized throughout the county.
“K21 is proud of the relationship we’ve had with MTEMS over the years,” said K21 President and Chief Executive Officer Rich Haddad. “As the largest ambulance service in Kosciusko County, MTEMS was in a unique position to help us achieve our mission of direct health care, prevention and healthy living.”
“We are so appreciative of the support we have received from K21 over the years,” said Lutheran EMS Kosciusko Director Scott Sigerfoos. “With their help, we have been able to increase the quality of care we provide to the community we serve.”
K21 Health Foundation exists for the benefit of Kosciusko County citizens to ensure health care services are provided, and to advance prevention and healthy living.
