Rex Edward ‘Eddie’ Earhart
Rex Edward “Eddie” Earhart, 46, of rural Wabash, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2016, at his mother’s home. He was born Jan. 15, 1970, in Bluffton, to Rex R. Earhart and Katrina (Napier) Pitts.
Eddie enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and spending time with his family. He loved to take rides to the reservoirs with his stepfather and brother-in-law. Eddie always enjoyed family get-togethers and playing with his nieces and nephews. He was a loving and kind-hearted person who found good in everyone. He also enjoyed his visits with Pastor Tod Masters, Gina Masters, and other friends.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather: Katrina M. and Henry Pitts Jr., Wabash; sister: Billie Jo (Steve) Stamper, Wabash; stepsister: Ladonna Pitts, Bloomington; three nieces; Brandi (Erik) Haeft, Huntington; Skyler Maples; Sidney Stamper, both of Wabash; nephew: Matthew (Stephanie) Maples Jr., Wabash; four great-nieces; and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, at Wabash Freewill Baptist Church, Wabash, with Pastor Tod Masters officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
