Crews Respond To Roof Collapse At St. Joseph Co. Courthouse
ST. JOSEPH — Part of the roof on the St. Joseph County courthouse in Mishawaka has collapsed.
It happened shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday, March 31.
Everyone has been evacuated from the building on Lincolnway West in downtown Mishawaka.
Dispatch says they don’t believe there were any injuries.
Firefighters say they’ve found a large amount of water on the top floor. While it hasn’t been confirmed the collapse is weather related, it did happen during the downpour when a line of storms rolled through Michiana.
WNDU has a crew on the scene, and will bring the public updates as they get more information.
