INDIANAPOLIS — The May Primary Election is only a month away. Do you know your rights as a voter? Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson is proud to offer Hoosiers the Indiana Voter’s Bill of Rights.
This publication explains your rights regarding:
- The types of ballots to be used
- If you’re waiting in line when the polls close
- Who to contact if your rights are violated
Register by Monday, April 4, to be able to vote in the May 3, Primary Election.
Hoosier’s can register to vote online by using the Indiana Voters app, or by visiting IndianaVoters.com, and can submit an application to register in person at their local county clerk’s office or any Bureau of Motor Vehicles license branch.
Voters with questions can call the Hoosier Voter Hotline at 800-IN-1-VOTE.
