Officers with the Kosciusko County Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:40 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, East Old Road 30 west of South CR 600E, Pierceton. Driver: Mary R. Lester, 56, East Creekside Trail, Syracuse. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.
10:21 p.m. Monday, April 4, South SR 25 and West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Amanda M. Monroe, 30, South Peru Road, Silver Lake, and Shane A. Ellis, 18, North Old US Highway 31, Rochester. Monroe’s vehicle turned into the path of Ellis’s vehicle and they collided. A nearby witness, Shelly Boggs, confirmed this account. Damage up to $25,000.
11:43 a.m. Monday, April 4, 904 E. Pound Drive, Warsaw. Driver; Sakhan Khiev, 70, North Slateview Court, Warsaw. Khiev’s vehicle collided with a park bench and Stafford’s Solid Waste Service building. Damage up to $10,000.
12:22 p.m. Saturday, April 2, East Pierceton Road west of South CR 350E, Warsaw. Driver: Christopher J. Wallace, 46, South Beech Lane, Warsaw. Wallace’s vehicle left the road and hit a utility pole, then rolled and hit a phone box, then went across the road onto private property. Wallace drove away, leaving debris behind. A witness gave police Wallace’s name and address and they located him. Police reports say Wallace was intoxicated. Damage up to $25,000.
