Brown, Gasaway Arrested After Foot Pursuit
OSWEGO — Two people police had been attempting to locate, on multiple active warrants, were arrested this morning, Friday, April 8, in the Oswego area, near Tippecanoe Lake.
Hannah Marie Brown, 23, Warsaw, and Steven Paul Gasaway, 25, Warsaw, were located by police after a foot pursuit.
Brown has been arrested for felony corruption business influence. She is being held on $10,000 surety and $250 cash bond.
Gasaway has been arrested for felony corruption business influence, possession of a schedule I, II, III, IV controlled substance and two counts of failure to appear, one a felony, the other a misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department 1st Sgt. Chad Hill, public information officer, reports at approximately 10 a.m. today, officers received a report of suspicious individuals inside a portable outside restroom unit. As officers approached, the male individual fled one of the units on foot. The female, identified as Brown, was hiding inside one of the numerous restroom units.
Gasaway was located hiding inside a cabin cruiser style boat in close proximity to the original call.
Assisting the arrest was the Indiana State Police K-9 Unit.
