Supporting Petermann For Congress
Dear Editor: I was excited when the Tea Party Movement gained notary in past elections because that gave us representatives in Congress who would hold down the spending. Jackie Walorski had campaigned on that message and promised to help limit the government spending and I had hoped she would.
It’s been four years since Jackie first went to Congress—and regretfully she hasn’t kept her promises.
Over the past three years she has been an accessory to adding over $3 trillion dollars to the debt, and all she’s come up with is petty excuses. Recently, she told a group of voters that the Omnibus Bill she had voted for in December did not allocate funds to specific departments.
Did she even read the bill? Where is her head? It was an appropriations bill and that’s exactly “appropriation” means. This bill added a trillion dollars to our debt and yes, it gave $540 million to Planned Parenthood in the process.
Don’t we deserve the truth? She treats the voters as if we’re ignorant of what goes on in our government. But we aren’t fools! We need more fiscal responsibility. Let’s give Jeff Petermann a chance for the next two years!
