SYRACUSE – The Wawasee athletic department will offer sports physicals for the upcoming 2016-17 school year. Physicals will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Wawasee High School beginning at 6 p.m.

Cost of the physical is $25 and checks should be payable to Wawasee Athletic Department.

Physicals are available for all athletes that will be in grades 5-12 next year. All athletes are required to have a physical on file before participating in a sport. IHSAA regulations state that for a physical to be valid for this next school year, it must be completed after April 1, 2016.

Physical forms can be picked up at all Wawasee schools and must be signed by the parents and the student. Physicals for Wawasee athletes start at 6 p.m. for grades 5-8 and at 7:15 p.m. for grades 9 and up.
