North Webster Elementary PTO Hosts Family Fun Night
NORTH WEBSTER — It’s become a yearly tradition for the staff and students and families of North Webster Elementary to celebrate the end of the school year at Paige’s Crossing Fun Center. The PTO hosts this event to thank the families who have helped contribute to their activities throughout the year and to help the students celebrate the hard work they have put into school over the school year. The entire Wawasee community is welcome to attend.
Each year the PTO asks community businesses to help sponsor the event. Financial donors include: NIPSCO, Tranter Graphics, North Webster Septic Tank Company, and Stamp-N-Toys.
Other businesses contribute food for the event. Each North Webster student is given a coupon to redeem for a free meal. These meals are donated by North Webster New Market and Martin’s. Aaron’s and the Kosciusko County Visitors Center also donate water for the meals.
The PTO will also be serving snow cones and all sorts of food. There will also be free face painting and balloon animals from Mr. Pulley. The rest of the North Webster staff always signs on to work the concessions.
Wrist bands to ride the rides are $9 and are good all evening.
A bounce house and little kid friendly activities will be provided for small children. The wristband is not necessary for these events. If a student entering kindergarten at North Webster next year this is a great time to stroll around and meet some people.
Each year the PTO raffles off donated items to raise funds to defray the cost. Some exciting raffle items this year include: two trucks from NAPA, a gift certificate from Barts, Subway coupons, Bourbon Street Pizza, free ice creams from Culvers, a cold tote and travel blanket from Mutual Bank, movie passes from North Pointe Cinema, a free week for a kid at summer camp at Camp Adventure, and many more items.
Come to Paige’s Crossing Fun Center from 5-9 p.m. Friday, April 29.
