David Stech
David Stech, age 62, of Bristol, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 5:50 a.m., Friday, April 29, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 12, 1953 in Huntington to Kenneth and Delores (Hart) Tech.
Mr. Stech was a graduate of Huntington High School. He moved to the Goshen area in 1979. On July 3, 1980, he married Julia Hartman at Oakwood Park in Syracuse.
Mr. Stech was the owner of Quality Restoration Services. He was a member and Elder of New Life Christian Center in Bristol. He served on the Church Worship Team. David was concerned for the spirituality of others. He loved “Giving”. He also enjoyed old cars.
Mr. Stech is survived by his wife, Julia; sons: Vance (Rochelle) Stech; Anthony (Judy) Stech, both of Bristol; Kelvin (Ruby) Stech, Elkhart; Andrew Stech, Goshen; daughters: Valerie (Sheldon) Weaver, Wakarusa; Kyla (Zach) Grass; Brina Stech, both of Bristol; and grandchildren: Roman and Winston Stech; Larson, Kate, Caroline Weaver, and Allen Grass. He was preceded in death by a son: Courtney Allen Stech; parents; and a brother: John Stech.
Family and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 2 and 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m., Tuesday at New Life Christian Center (15685 IN 120, Bristol).
Private family burial will take place at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday at First Baptist Church (53953 CR 17, Bristol). Pastor Slavic Sagach of New Life Christian Center will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given to Police Officer Ministry or Elkhart Teen Challenge.
