WINONA LAKE – The 19th annual Grace College Lancer Golf Classic is just around the corner.

The fundraiser for the college will be held Monday, Aug. 1, at Stonehenge Golf Club. Each year, Grace hosts the Classic to generate funds to provide new equipment, scholarships and facility upgrades for the 15 varsity sports and more than 250 student athletes.

Grace College has had historical and recent success, winning 42 Crossroads League championships and have made an impact on the national level with such runs from its women’s soccer program, track and field programs and men’s basketball all leaving their marks.

Grace is looking for both players/teams and sponsors for the 2016 Classic. Individual fees are $120 per individual, which includes course prizes, 18 holes of golf with cart, team prizes and chances at great silent auction items. A team of four is $420 for either morning or afternoon flights.

The Lancer Golf Classic is also seeking sponsorships from the community. Various levels of sponsorship offer different levels of exposure and return.
