WINONA LAKE – Grace College’s cheerleading team will have a familiar face lead the team next year in Jenna Carter.

Carter, a 2006 graduate of Grace, served as the Lancers’ cheer coach from 2009-12. She stepped aside from coaching Grace to focus on starting her family.

“I have been blessed with the opportunity to lead the Grace College Cheer Team again,” Carter said. “I look forward to what God has in store for each of these young adults and the future of the program. I am excited for the upcoming season and working with the team to cheer on our Lancers!”

Carter served on the Warsaw cheer coaching staff from 2006-08, including a stint as head coach. Her squads earned multiple awards and had a reputation for always being disciplined and structured.

“We look forward to Jenna returning to lead our cheerleading program,” said Grace Athletic Director Chad Briscoe. “Her Christian commitment and passion to impact students’ lives through cheer will continue to build our program.”
