Orville E. Robinson
Orville E. Robinson, 69, Bremen, passed away Friday evening, May 6, 2016, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born on Aug. 2, 1946, in Jonesboro, Ark. to the late Eartha Ernest and Doris Inez (Cudd) Robinson. Orville moved to the Michiana area at age 7; living in North Liberty for many years and living the past ten years at the Lake of the Woods in Bremen.
On June 23, 1970, in South Bend, Orville married Pamela (Smith) Robinson who survives. Also surviving is one daughter: Laurie (Justin) Barnett, North Liberty; one son: Jeremy Robinson, South Bend; four grandchildren: Katelynn; Emily; Mariah; and Alycia; one sister: Wilma (Pat) Long, Fish Lake; and three brothers: Eugene Robinson, Niles, Mich.; Billy Robinson, Greensboro, N.C.; and Larry Wayne (Kay) Robinson, Little Rock, Ark. One sister: Dorothy Hazleton, preceded in death.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 12, at the Palmer Funeral Home, Guisinger Chapel, South Bend. Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
Orville worked for Frehauf for 15 years and Glaval for six years as an auto painter. He enjoyed painting cars, attending car shows and watching NASCAR He loved to fish at the Lake of the Woods in Bremen. He especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren and will be dearly missed.
Memorial contributions in memory of Orville Ernest Robinson may be made to the Palmer Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs.
