Tucker Arrested For Child Molesting
WARSAW — Ryan Alan Tucker, 18, 3950 N. 100E, Warsaw, has been arrested on a charge of child molesting, a level 3 felony. He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail Monday morning, May 9.
Warsaw Police Officer Lewis Fuller responded to a report of child molesting Feb. 23, after the mother of the victim had been notified by school officials. The victim had told a school staff member she had sexual intercourse with Tucker.
The mother told police her daughter told her the incident occurred during the morning of Feb. 21. Tucker came to the residence and her daughter let him in her bedroom window where the sexual intercourse took place. A condom used in the act was found and given to police for DNA testing. Through a search warrant, DNA from Tucker was obtained and sent to the Indiana State Police Lab. The lab determined the DNA profiles from the two samples were consistent.
The victim also told a caseworker with Child Protective Services, that while they were never involved in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, she would communicate with Tucker on social media. She confirmed they had sex one time. She added Tucker knew her age.
Tucker, while speaking to police on an unrelated incident, stated a female was trying to say he raped her. He admitted he did not rape her but knew she was underage.
He is being held on $25,000 surety bond.
