Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
8:16 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, East US 30 and South SR 13, Pierceton. Drivers: Shawna M. Davenport, 46, Pheasant Ridge Drive, and Tamra L. Brown, 65, Thistle Burr Lane, Greenfield. Davenport struck the side of Brown’s vehicle as Brown attempted to cross US 30. Damage up to $50,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
9:46 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 737 N. Detroit Street, Warsaw. Witnesses stated that Vehicle 1 back up into Vehicle 2 and then quickly drive away. Damage up to $2,500.
9:13 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, East Center Street, west of North Reed Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Tracy F. Hansen, 43, Warsaw, and Breon M. Jones, 28, West CR 100S, Warsaw. Hansen struck Jones on the left rear panel while making a left turn onto East Center Street. Damage up to $10,000.
2:59 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, East Winona Avenue and South Lake Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Joyce L. Holmes, 65, Baritol Drive 2, Warsaw, Benjamin S. Herzog, 39, East CR 600N, Huntington, and Kendra R. Burns, 18, North Lake Street, Warsaw. Holmes attempted to cross Winona Avenue from the Owen’s parking lot through a gap in east bound traffic. She pulled out across Winona Avenue and was struck by Herzog who was going west. The impact spun Holmes around where her vehicle rolled into Burns car, damaging the bumper. Damage up to $50,000.

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
7:16 Tuesday, May 10, East CR 225S, west of Widaman Street, Winona Lake. Driver: Richard J. Carter, 55, East Barrington Place, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
