WARSAW — Kosciusko County Tobacco Free Coalition is seeking local youth to assist with its upcoming “Poison by the Pound Cigarette Butt Cleanup” event.

Those wishing to assist are asked to meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21, in the Shrine building at the Kosciusko County fairgrounds. Participants will receive clear plastic collection bags, disposable gloves in small, medium or large and garbage bags for other types of trash.

Adults are also asked to sign up to assist and oversee youth during this activity. Donuts and water will be available and there will be a prize awarded to the individual who collects the most cigarette butts.
