Stalking Charge Filed Against Hall
WARSAW — A charge of stalking against Mitchell Patrick Hall, 44, 920 Anchorage Road, Warsaw, has been filed in Kosciusko Superior Court 1. The charge is a level 5 felony.
Court documents state on March 24, a criminal case was filed against Hall for domestic battery, a level 6. The victim obtained a protective order against him. The order prohibited Hall from stalking, harassing, annoying, telephoning, contacting or communicating directly or indirectly with the victim.
Police were notified on April 23, that Hall had violated the protective order on several occasions between April 20 and May 4. Hall attempted on several occasions to speak to the victim in the parking lot of the place of her employment, followed her to locations again in an attempt to speak with her, left a stuffed animal and a bag of energy drinks on her vehicle and then driving by that location. On May 4, Hall opened the driver’s door of her vehicle, reached in and was rummaging around the passenger seat. When she began to scream for him to go away, he stepped back from the vehicle. He called her a name and stated she would be dealt with. The victim’s daughter was a witness and was told to call 911 by her mother.
On April 27 police contacted Hall, who stated he knew there was a protective order in place, but the victim had told him the protective order had been dropped. He stated he had received text messages from the victim. He did not deny sending flowers to the victims. Officers advised Hall the protective order was still active and to avoid contact with the victim.
Hall was arrested May 6 on charges of stalking and domestic battery and held on $10,000 surety and $100 cash bond.
