Pierceton
Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:
8:42 a.m. Thursday, May 19, East Pierceton Road and East Washington Road, Pierceton. Driver: Robert J. Jones, 35, Park Ridge Drive, Warsaw. Jones’s vehicle veered into a ditch, striking rocks, landscaping, fence rails and a newspaper box. Damage up to $2,500.
5:18 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, US 30 and CR 250S, Pierceton. Drivers: Travis L. Galloway, 51, East CR 250S, Pierceton and Christi A. Hapner, 30, Walter Way, Warsaw. Galloway pulled his vehicle into the path of Hapner’s oncoming vehicle and they collided. Damage up to $5,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
6:09 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, North Huntington Street south of West Henry Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Jacob K. Weber, 19, North Morris Road, Cromwell, and Judith A. Courtney, 65 North East Wawasee Drive, Syracuse. Weber became distracted and his vehicle rear-ended Courtney’s, which had slowed for traffic. Courtney complained of lower back and knee pain and was checked by medics at the scene. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police department investigated the following accident:
10:33 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: Karen F. Sittler, 67, EMS T25 Lane, Leesburg, and Maria E. Beltran, 42, West Baker Street, Warsaw. Sittler backed her vehicle out of a parking space and it collided with Beltran’s oncoming vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
