WCS Announces 2016 Valedictorian and Salutatorian
Warsaw Community Schools is proud to announce the class of 2016 valedictorian and salutatorian. Ethan Cook is the senior class valedictorian with Lucas Cone achieving the salutatorian title.
Cook is the son of Kevin and Missy Cook. During his time at Warsaw Community High School he participated on the swim team, the Wawasee PRO swimming team as well as National Honor Society. Cook plans to attend Dartmouth College where he will study biological science.
Cone is the son of Kip and Mary Cone. While at WCHS, Cone participated in National Honor Society, track, soccer, theater, piano as well as participating in his youth group. Cone will attend Grace College where he plans to study linguistics.
The 2016 graduation ceremony will take place 7 p.m. Friday, June 3, in the Tiger Den at WCHS. The class speaker will be Noah Scott. The class flower is a white rose and the class colors are lavender and silver. The class motto is, “Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go,” by T.S. Eliot.
Class officers are Connor Kerlin, president; Brooklyn Rummer, vice president; and Ashley West, secretary.
