Irene M. Creighbuam-UPDATED
Irene M. Creighbaum, 77, Tippecanoe, passed at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Indianapolis.
She was born on Aug. 17, 1938, in Pulaski County to Francis and Sara (Highland) Ludwig.
She was married on June 20, 1959, in Mentone, to Forrest G. Creighbaum Sr., who preceded on Feb. 3, 1995.
She was a homemaker. Irene formerly attended Grace Outreach Fellowship, Tippecanoe, and also was a former member of the Moose Lodge, Warsaw, and the VFW, Plymouth. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, yahtzee, and gardening.
She is survived by daughters: Anna Haroulakis, Warsaw; Katherine (Duane) Flory, Tippecanoe; sons: Michael (Kimberly) Creighbaum, Edwardsburg, Mich.; Forrest Creighbuam Jr., Tippecanoe; Marvin Creighbaum, Tippecanoe; companion: Bob Sherrill, Tippecanoe; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; brothers: Charles “Bud” Kring, Elkhart; Dave (companion Sharon) Ludwig, Bremen; sisters: Frances Ann (Floyd) Dorsey, Argos; Martha (Richard) Muffley, Plymouth; and Mary Helen DeVos, Argos. She was preceded in death by her parents: Francis and Sara Ludwig; stepmother: Violet E. Ludwig; husband: Forrest G. Creighbaum Sr.; a great-grandchild; brothers: Bobby Alan Ludwig; Michael Dale Kring; and Kenneth Ludwig; and sister: Donna Mae Kring.
Memorial services will be held at noon, Saturday, June 4, at Grace Outreach Fellowship, Tippecanoe, with Rev. Rob Mace and Larrie Kreft officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Cemetery, Tippecanoe, at a later date. Visitation hours will be 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, June 4, at Grace Outreach Fellowship.
Arrangements are entrusted to King Memorial Home, Mentone.
