Norma Kay Kittrell-UPDATED
Norma Kay Kittrell, Warsaw, passed away at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, at the age of 74.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she attended Warsaw Community Church. Norma worked as a data processor for 29 years at United Telephone Company until her retirement in 1989. She also worked in the Deli Department at Marsh Supermarket in Warsaw for a number of years. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.
Norma was born on Jan. 10, 1942, in Warsaw, to Jean Evelyn (Fawley) and Willard Harold East.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters: Kelly Blackwell; and Kimberly (Jay) Secrist, both of Warsaw. She also leaves behind five grandchildren: Jenny Blackwell, Nappanee; Jeremy Blackwell; Jana Blackwell; Timothy Farner; Kayanna Secrist, all of Warsaw; and her sister: Doris (Bob) Haney, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Jamy Gregory. There will be time for visitation two hours prior to the service from 5-7 p.m. A private graveside service will take place at Palestine Cemetery in Palestine.
Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society, Mishawaka, and would be appreciated by her family.
