Diane Jane Rhine — UPDATED
Diane Jane Rhine, 70, Warsaw, died at 10:16 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Bridgewater Healthcare Center, Carmel.
She was born Aug. 29, 1945 in Warsaw, to Paul H. Dean and Hazel A. (Pippen) Dean. She was a graduate of New Carlisle High School and attended Bethel College. She was a Brownie, Girl Scout and a 4-H leader for many years in Russiaville. She liked arts and crafts but was an especially gifted canvas painter and ceramic designer. She was a former member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Kokomo.
She is survived by two daughters: Ashley Rhine, Indianapolis; Holly (Doug) Smith, Noblesville; two sons: Jason Rhine, Maulvin, S.C.; Justin (Crystal) Rhine, Kokomo; 12 grandchildren; and a sister: Jo Anne (Wallace) Kehr, Goshen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Richard Dean.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, June 9 at Titus Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Pastor Bob Jarboe of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice will officiate. Burial will be at Etna Green Cemetery.
A charity of the donor’s choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in Diane’s memory.
