Katherine M. Allison, 85, formerly of Sutter Creek, Calif., residing in South Bend, passed away at 6:35 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2016, at Fountainview Place, Mishawaka. She was born on June 11, 1930, in South Bend, to the late Louis and Catherine Kosgrove Howard. Katherine’s husband: Leon Allison preceded her in death.

Katherine is survived by her daughters: Linda Ward, Bourbon; and Victoria Ehinger, Citrus Heights, Calif.; her son: Michael (Carol) Woofter, Bradenton, Fla.; five grandchildren: Adam (Lindsay) Hanger, Citrus Heights, Calif.; Justin Ehinger, Orangeville, Calif.; Kyle Woofter, Roseville, Calif.; and Robert Ward; and Michelle (C.J.) Ogle, both of Bourbon; nine great-grandchildren; a sister: Marge O’Neil, South Bend; her brother: Thomas Howard, St. Charles, Mo.; and a dear friend: Linda Ayala, Roseville, Calif. A sister: Mary Bays; and three brothers: Hank Howard; Henry Howard; and Louis Howard, Jr. all preceded Katherine in death.

Palmer Funeral Home-River Park and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will take place at Sunset View Cemetery, Jackson, Calif.
