Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

12:05 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, at South SR 13, south of East SR 14, North Manchester. Driver: Nicole E. Neal, 31, East CR 900N, North Manchester. Hit a deer. Damage up to $2,500.

8:31 p.m. Monday, June 6, at East CR 1400N, east of North East Shore Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Jordan J. Smith, 16, North Lake Street, Syracuse. Smith drove off the road and into a utility pole. Damage up to $10,000. Smith was transported to Goshen Hospital for medical care.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

4:03 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, at North Detroit Street and West CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Desmond J. Hudson, 20, Jean Street, Winona Lake, and Jeffery A. Fuller, 32, South SR 15, Silver Lake. Hudson drove into the back of Fuller’s car. Damage up to $5,000.

4:59 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at 3307 Kuder Lane, west of Husky Trail, Warsaw. Drivers: Tiffany R. Cramer, 21, South Manor Drive, Syracuse,  and Brittany L. Meade, 24, RA Mar Drive, Warsaw. Cramer’s vehicle collided with Meade’s as she came around a “hard” curve. Damage up to $5,000.

3:57 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at South Buffalo Street and West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Cameron H. Alexander, 18, West CR 400N, Warsaw, and Melaine D. Turner, 34, West Walnut Street, Claypool. Alexander’s vehicle hit Turners at approximately 2 miles per hour. Damage up to $2,500.

2:59 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at CR 486W and CR 350 N, Warsaw. Drivers: Kyle E. Watts, 22, West Van Buren Street, Leesburg, and Angela R. Herford, 23, West Spring Street, Etna Green. Watts drove his moped into the front bumper of Herford’s car while looking down at a cell phone in his hand. Damage up to $2,500. Watts was transported to KCH.
