Exciting Contest From The Kosciusko County Historical Society
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Join the adventure of discovery as participants travel around the county visiting festivals, parks, historic buildings and sites by using the unique passport to Kosciusko County from the Kosciusko County Historical Society in commemoration of their 50 years of preserving county history for future generations. All seventeen townships of the county contain interesting points of destination found in the passport. Passports can be picked up at the Old Jail Museum in Warsaw or any library in the county.
Travel to little known places and mark the date of your visit in your passport. When participants have visited at least 50 places (there are over 80 places listed in the passport) they can then bring their passport to the Old Jail Museum, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. Participants will then be entered into a drawing for a suitcase filled with unique items from around the county.
The contest runs May 28 through Sept. 17. The suitcase winner will be announced during the county’s celebration of Indiana’s Bicentennial, Sept. 29. Entries must be received at the Old Jail by Sept. 24 to be entered into the gift drawing. No purchase is necessary. Join in the fun. Get a passport and start discovering Kosciusko County.
