Officers with the Kosciusko Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

6:13 a.m. Monday, June 13, at East CR 900S, west of South CR 100E, Silver Lake. Driver: John R. Helton, 45, West CR 950S, Silver Lake. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

4:45 p.m. Monday, June 6, at West Old Road 30, west of North CR 350W, Warsaw. Drivers: Roger Jeffers, 63, State Road 10, Bourbon, and Hannah Monter, 22, Chestnut Street, Winona Lake. Jeffers attempted to drive past Monter, who was about to make a left turn. Monter’s vehicle hit the side of Jeffer’s. Damage up to $10,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

7:25 p.m. Friday, June 10, at South Huntington Street, north of East Lynwood Drive, Syracuse. Drivers: Micheal L. Hanlin, 73, 76th Court, Indianapolis, and Alexandria I. Luevano, 21, Tanglewood Drive, Goshen. Hanlin pulled out in front of Luevano, who drove into the rear of the driver’s side of Hanlin’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
