Brandi D. Adkins, 22, Fort Wayne, formerly of Warsaw, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016. She was born Oct. 14, 1993, in Pikeville, Ky., to Danny Adkins and Sheila Jackson.

Brandi was a fun, outgoing person with a vibrant sense of humor. She enjoyed making people laugh and made friends easily. She was sometimes stubborn, especially when it came to her daredevil acts and riding the four wheeler. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter and granddaughter; she was loved dearly by her family and friends.

She leaves behind two children: Danny M. Wells; and Titon M. Patrick, both of Fort Wayne; her mother: Sheila Jackson (significant other Jason Mauk), Etna Green; her sister: Kayla Jackson, Ligonier; and a brother: Chase Byrer, Palestine; her maternal grandparents: Phyllis Hurley, Kentucky; Ernest Adkins, Virginia; and paternal grandfather: Jesse Johnson. Also surviving is a close family friend: Roger Blankenship, Kentucky; as well as many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; and grandmother.

A service celebrating Brandi’s life will be Thursday, June 16, at Warsaw Wesleyan Church, Warsaw; her uncle, Brian Jackson, will officiate the service. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 5-7 p.m.
Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
