Matthew Wallace Thompson, 41, Warsaw, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, June 11, 2016.

He was born on Sept. 18, 1974, in Bluffton, to Denny Thompson and Nancy (Manrow) Marsh. He enjoyed fishing and going to auto races.

Survivors include his father: Denny (Doris) Thompson, Akron; stepfather: Jerry Marsh, Florida; sisters: Amy (Chad) Heckaman, Warsaw; and Heather (Woodcock) Turner, McLean, Va.; brother: Jason Thompson, Tsukuba, Japan; stepbrothers: Jay Marsh; and Jeremy Marsh; nephews: Justin; Austin; and Coltin Brumfield. He was preceded in death by his mother: Nancy Marsh.

Memorial visitation hours are from 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 17, at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with no other services to follow. Hartzler Funeral Services will be handling arrangements.
