Marcella Jo “Marci” Taylor Plank, 32, Kokomo, passed away at 5 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville. She was born Aug. 2, 1983, in Tipton County, to Michael and Bethany (Harlow) Taylor. On Oct. 10, 2015, she married Gabriel Plank, and he survives.

She graduated from Tri-Central High School in 2001, and was pursuing a degree in Risk Management. She had worked as a licensed personal line agent at Patriot Insurance for the past five years. She was also a certified wedding planner, an interior designer, coach of the Photos by Gregory T-ball team at Tri-Central and a member of Crossroads Community Church. Her favorite things to do, besides loving on her boys, was to sing, dance and make people laugh.

In addition to her husband: Gabriel Plank; she is survived by her sons: Tate Alan Strebin; and Riley Charles Strebin; her parents; two sisters: Nicole (B.J.) Dunham; and Alisha (Trenton) Casler; one brother: Jacob (Lucy Harcourt) Taylor; grandmother: Sue Harlow; grandfather: Cecil Taylor; three nephews: Alex Dunham; Josiah Dunham; and Gus Casler; mother and father-in-law: Donavan and Susan Plank; brothers and sister-in-law: Prudence (Alex) Mejia; Ruben (Molly) Plank; and Luke (fiance Amanda Conley) Plank; and several aunts; uncles; nieces; and nephews; cousins; and the fab five. She was preceded in death by her grandfather: Jim Harlow; grandmother: Bettie Taylor; and daughter: Elora Strebin.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Crossroads Community Church, Kokomo, with Pastor Chris Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at the church.

Marci would want everyone to dress in bright colors when you come to celebrate her life. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for an education fund for Marci’s children. Stout and Son Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
