Kay, Boone Named All-American Divers
GOSHEN – Goshen High School senior Hudson Kay and Concord junior Lauren Boone capped fine diving seasons with nods as All-Americans in the 2015-16 National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association/Speedo One-Meter Diving honorees.
Kay, along with Fishers’ Cole Van Devender, were the only two divers from Indiana to make the list of the 100 boys divers from around the United States.
Kay was a sectional champion as a senior, and also placed second in the Northern Lakes Conference Championships and was second in the diving regional. Kay finished ninth at state, one place behind Van Devender.
Boone was the only Hoosier girl named among the 100 female choices. The Minuteman was a sectional champion along with a runner-up in the NLC Championships and was fifth in the diving regional. Boone placed 12th at state.
