Ronald E. Johnson, 68, Warsaw, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at his home. 

He was born on Dec. 18, 1947 in Battle Creek, Mich. to Cecil and Lidia (Pennock) Smith.

He graduated from Lake View High School in Battle Creek and worked as a union bricklayer most of his life. In November 2000 he married Linda L. Kinsey who survives. He moved to the Warsaw area in 2002 from Arizona.

He is survived by his wife: Linda Kinsey, Warsaw; his son: John (Tonya) Smith, Tuscon, Ariz.; two daughters: Heather (Chase Black) Smith, Tuscon, Ariz.; and Kelley (Anthony Veelz), Phoenix, Ariz.; six stepchildren; seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchildren; two sisters. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister: Susie Smith.
