Patricia ‘Bop’ Trippiedi
Patricia “Bop” Trippiedi, 73, Middlebury, died at 4:27 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Kindred Hospital, Mishawaka. She was born on Feb. 18, 1943, in Chicago, Ill., to Peter and Dorothy (Klebba) Poholik. On Sept. 24, 1966, she married Lawrence J. Trippiedi in Chicago, he preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1971.
Surviving are daughter: Dawn (Mark) Maes, Goshen; son: Dean (Alissa) Trippiedi, Warsaw; five grandchildren: Brock and Brooke Maes; Taylor; Olivia; and Tanner Trippiedi; brother: Peter (Sally) Poholik Jr., Fort Myers, Fla.; sister-in-law: Charlotte Poholik, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers: Ronald and Robert Poholik.
Patricia loved spending time working as an accountant for her daughter at Corporate Advertising, Goshen. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church, Middlebury (formerly Pleasant Ridge Missionary Church). She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events, and would often offer coaching advice from her chair. She was known as grandma Bop to many.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, at Christian Fellowship Church, Middlebury. A funeral service will follow visitation at 7 p.m. also at the church. Services will be conducted by Pastor Craig Garber. Friends and family may gather on Wednesday, July 6, for a 12:30 p.m. (11:30 a.m. Central) graveside service at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Ill.
Memorials may be given to Christian Fellowship Church.
