Vivian M. Rodgers
Vivian M. Rodgers, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. She was 86.
Born to Fred Allen and Ellen M. (Phillips) Nichols, Vivian was one of five children. She was born in Three Rivers, Michigan and graduated high school there.
Lucky enough to find love again after the passing of her husband, Paul Miner on April 13, 2003, Vivian was married to Robert J. “Bob” Rodgers. The two were wed on May 29, 2006 and he survives in Warsaw.
Vivian had worked at GTI for twelve years and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Warsaw. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose, American Legion Post #49 Ladies Auxiliary and VFW Post #1126 Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband, Bob, those left to cherish memories of Vivian are two daughters: Connie (Mike Brinkman) Losee of Syracuse; and Gerry (Gene) Kay of Syracuse; two sons: Dan Miner of New Paris; and Dan (Pam) Hann of Leesburg; a sister: Margaret Berry of Osceola; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and numerous nephews.
Those who preceded Vivian in passing were her husbands: Leo Okal and Paul Miner; parents: Fred and Ellen Nichols; son: Phil Okal; and three brothers.
Friends may gather for a memorial visitation and to share memories with the family in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan St., Warsaw, from 5–7 p.m.Tuesday, July 5. A private burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Gifts in memory of Vivian may be given to Warsaw’s VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 1126, 1350 West Center St., Warsaw, IN 46580.
