Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
7:54 a.m., Saturday, July 2, at East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: James Gause,46, East Clark Street, Warsaw, and Barbara Hardin, 74, North Columbia Street, Warsaw. Gause stopped his vehicle at a stop sign and failed to see Hardin’s vehicle, Gause proceeded to go through the intersection and hit Hardin’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,00.
1:35 p.m., Saturday, July 2, at Buck Trail, east of Stag Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Ryan Swing, 35, Buck Trail, Warsaw. Swing backed his vehicle up into a parked vehicle while exiting his driveway. Damages up to $2,500.
10:42 p.m., Saturday, July 2, at U.S. 30, east of Commerce Drive, Warsaw, Drivers: Kamilah Armour, 35, Casa Verde Drive, Fort Wayne, and Carol Vierling, 57, east Greystone Drive, Warsaw. Armour’s vehicle was approaching the intersection and failed to see the red light in time. Armour’s vehicle entered the intersection and struck Vierling’s vehicle which was turning off of U.S. 30. Two passengers in Armour’s vehicle were transported to Parkview Warsaw. Vierling was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damages up to $25,000.
11:36 p.m., Saturday, July 2, at West Market Street and South Washington Street. Drivers: Hunter Hyden, 16, Akron, and Quinton Bolduc, 23, north Walnut St., Bloomington. Hyden failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with Bolduc’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.
6:28 p.m., Sunday, July 3, at 1150 Husky Trail, Warsaw. Driver: Neil Miller, 42, north Fort Wayne Road, Rushville. Miller’s vehicle struck a pole. Damages up to $2,500.
3:56 a.m., Monday, July 4, at Country Club Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Daniel Moyer, 18, east Market St., Warsaw. Moyer noticed his brakes were not working while driving southbound on Country Club Drive. Moyer then pulled the emergency brake in his vehicle, which caused him to exit the roadway and hit a utility pole. Damages up to $10,000.
