SYRACUSE — The Syracuse Parks Department will be hosting the 3rd Annual Tour des Parks this Saturday in coordination with the 7th Annual Tour des Lakes.

Both events will start at the Syracuse Community Center. The Tour des Lakes, which features three route options, including a 100k that takes riders around most of Kosciusko County’s beautiful lakes, starts at 7:00 a.m. with registration running through 9:30 a.m.

The Tour des Parks is a family friendly, 2.5-mile bike ride that guides participants around the beautiful Syracuse parks system. Participants will be given passports at the time of registration along with maps with the location of every park. Participants will then follow the map’s instructions to complete their passports. Those who turn in completed passports will have an opportunity to win prizes. This increasingly popular event starts at 10 a.m. and runs through 2 p.m.
