Kosciusko Cares Film Camp Videos Released On Youtube
WARSAW — Kosciusko Cares Film Camp completed on June 17 and the final films have been released. Students learned three writing structures: sketch comedy, commercial, and movie trailer.
The films are on Youtube here.
Students were asked to write around the themes of kindness and compassion. All students participated in the writing process and worked on the film crew in various roles.
Kosciusko Cares has evolved from its initial purpose of collecting and evaluating community data and information to the development and implementation of evidence-based programs to support health and wellness for youth and families; and now has entered a new, more robust phase to better serve county residents in the area of prevention by increasing prevention messages, educating the public regarding mental health issues and substance abuse problems, and implementing community wide programs involving youth.
In January, Kosciusko Cares, under the umbrella of Bowen Center, was accepted as an Associate Member of the Indiana Youth Services Association, and as such will become a fully accredited Youth Services Bureau later this year.
