Warsaw Municipal Airport Gets New Truck
WARSAW — Members of The Board of Aviation Commissioners met on Tuesday, July 12, to discuss the Warsaw Municipal Airport’s fuel usage and approve the bid for a new truck.
Nick King, airport manager of Warsaw Municipal Airport, gave a report on the fuel usage for June 2016. He stated fuel usage is up this month. “Doing good for this month. We’re up from last year,” said King.
The commissioners also discussed the unfinished business from last month about the bids for a 2017 Ford XLT. After hearing King’s report on his discussions with both bidders about minor issues with the truck, the board approved the lower bid from Kerlin Motor Company of $32,411.80.

- The board approved the bid for weeding from Dalton Chemical Vegetation Control for $3,374.
- Approved CASA’s request to hold their annual CASA event at the airport.
The board will hold their next meeting at 5:15 p.m. Aug, 9.
